Deuteronomy 32:15-25 NASB
¹⁵Then he forsook God who made him,
And scorned the Rock of his salvation.
¹⁶They made Him jealous with strange gods;
With abominations they provoked Him to anger.
¹⁷They sacrificed to demons who were not God,
To gods whom they have not known,
New gods who came lately,
Whom your fathers did not dread.
¹⁸You neglected the Rock who begot you,
And forgot the God who gave you birth.
¹⁹The Lord saw this, and spurned them
Because of the provocation of His sons and daughters.
²⁰Then He said, ‘I will hide My face from them,
I will see what their end shall be;
For they are a perverse generation,
Sons in whom is no faithfulness.
²¹They have made Me jealous with what is not God;
They have provoked Me to anger with their idols.
So I will make them jealous with those who are not a people;
I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation,
²²For a fire is kindled in My anger,
And burns to the lowest part of Sheol,
And consumes the earth with its yield,
And sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.
²³I will heap misfortunes on them;
I will use My arrows on them.
²⁴They will be wasted by famine,
and consumed by plague
And bitter destruction;
And the teeth of beasts I will send upon them,
With the venom of crawling things of the dust.
²⁵Outside the sword will bereave,
And inside terror.
Both young man and virgin,
The nursling with the man of gray hair.
In the Bible we can clearly read in many places:
▪︎ That you cannot mock God, without being punished.
▪︎ That you cannot leave God, without consequences.
▪︎ And that when you provoke God to anger, you will reap what you sow.
Hatred towards God and His messages become more clearly day by day
▪︎ Daily I experience that when I warn you, you don’t want to listen to the warning, though it would be for your eternal good, if you would give attention to it.
▪︎ Daily I experience that when I write a message from God’s word, that it will be deleted. Because either someone complained about it, or Facebook tells me the message (the Word of God) goes against their policies.
No, nobody wants to go to hell,
▪︎ But why then, do you do your uttermost best to reach that place?
▪︎ But why then, do you forsake your God, and do whatever you like?
▪︎ But why then, do you follow gods, that are not gods?
▪︎ But why then, do you worship your car, your house, or any other possession God has blessed you with?
▪︎ But why then, do you provoke God to anger, so punishment is evident?
▪︎ But why then, do you not repent of your sins, and ask for forgiveness?
Again I call on you…
▪︎ Be reconciled with God!
▪︎ Go to God and confess your sins to Him!
▪︎ Pray to God that He may forgive you!
Remember …
▪︎ Remember, and see from what height you have fallen.
▪︎ Remember the parable of the prodigal son.
▪︎ He came to his senses
▪︎ He decided to get up,
▪︎ He decided to go to his father,
▪︎ And he decided to ask for forgiveness.
And so should all of us!
But he did not only think about these things, he put them also into action!
And so should all of us!
If we, that is you and I, don’t come to our senses, don’t get up, and go to our heavenly Father, and pray for forgiveness, we will surely perish, and end up in that terrible place where no one wants to go.
I hope you will take time now to repent of your sins, ask for forgiveness, and start following Jesus (again), for He is the only way to the Father, to His Kingdom, and to the beautiful future He has for you.
If you miss out on this, you have no one to blame for that than yourself.
Jesus has already done everything needed to enable you to enter His Kingdom.
Don’t be a fool, and choose hell instead of life!
