Some time ago I told you that I was planning to change the layout of the devotionals, and by now most of you will have seen it.
Now you find under the title of the devotional
- The Bible verse and, if necessary, directly underneath it a short clarification, or literal translation of the Greek or Hebrew word, of a few words in the text.
- Following this it shows the same verse, but now how it is translated in some other Bible versions.
- Then under the header “Some further information” you find some background information or further explanation of used words in the text.
This all you can use for your personal Bible study
The last part in the message is the actual devotional, reflecting on the Bible verse.
Sometimes I will put more than one devotional on the same verse.
In that case I will try to publish them on the same day, with intervals of about 6 hours, but the information for your personal study will not be repeated. So what I mentioned under points 1 to 3 will only be published in the first message concerning that Bible verse.
It is possible to ask questions about, or react on the messages, on my website and in the group.
I would like to hear your opinion about this setup.
