Now repentance is real, the Lord turns to Israel unconditionally.
He becomes their Physician again.
He is going to embalm the wounds and heal the pain.
The “I will” in Hosea 14:4-7 show how beneficial God’s grace is.
- ⁴I will heal their apostasy,
- I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from them.
- ⁵I will be like the dew to Israel; He will blossom like the lily, And he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon. ⁶His shoots will sprout, And his beauty will be like the olive tree And his fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon. ⁷Those who live in his shadow Will again raise grain, And they will blossom like the vine. His renown will be like the wine of Lebanon.
The dead sinner is going to live.
Through the Holy Spirit, the Lord works renewing, so Israel flourishes again, is fragrant, grows, sits down in peace, and resides safely.
Yes, the Lord answers and looks down in grace, on everyone, who calls on Him .
The answer of those who are saved by Him is:

He has brought me to his banquet hall,
And his banner over me is love.
The winter of God’s judgments has changed into the spring of His mercy.
How wonderful that it is only God’s work,
How wonderful that it comes from God only,
How wonderful that His fruits may also grow in and through me.
