Hosea 10:12 NASB
Sow with a view to righteousness,
Reap in accordance with kindness;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord
Until He comes to rain righteousness on you.
If a farmer plants good plants, those plants will grow. He will dig the ground to make the plants grow well.
You should be like that farmer. Work hard to do what is right, so the Lord will bless you. That will be like your harvest. It is time for you to turn to the Lord. Then He will bless you, like rain that falls on the ground!
Wake up people!
The judgment day is getting closer, it is inevitable.
Just as in the days of Hosea, the Lord still gives a warning again.
First in figurative language:
▪︎ sow to justice,
▪︎ mow for benevolence.
But then to be perfectly clear, without imagery:
It is time to seek the Lord!
Just as the Lord disappeared from the field of vision of the people of Israel, He is no longer in the picture today. Even today, millions live as if there is no God, and many even dare to say this openly.
Make no mistake!
The Lord who has threatened to leave, to depart from His people, can do this today. When God does the same to mankind, as mankind has done unto Him, to turn their back on God, the world will really feel what it is like to live without God.
He’s got to be sought, and… When you earnestly seek Him, He’ll be found.
Isaiah 55:6 KJV51
Seek the Lord while He can be found;
call on Him while He is near.
But it is time, it is high time to seek Him, to return to Him.
Not tomorrow, but today!
Not later, but now!
Because you don’t know if there will be another tomorrow.
You don’t even know if you’ll be among the living a few minutes from now.
Don’t wait until it’s too late forever
2 Corinthians 6:2 NASB
At the acceptable time I listened to you,
And on the day of salvation I helped you.
Behold, now is the acceptable time,
behold, now is the day of salvation
I don’t have time … How many times have you said that?
That’s a lie! That’s what Satan wants you to believe!
You have time for anything and everything,
▪︎ but no time for the Lord …?
▪︎ but no time for your eternal salvation …?
Hurry up, because soon you will indeed have no time anymore!
Psalms 24:3-6
³Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
And who may stand in His holy place?
⁴He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood
And has not sworn deceitfully.
⁵He shall receive a blessing from the Lord
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
⁶This is the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face
