“He is in a better place now.“
These words you will often hear to comfort the husband or wife who stayed behind, after his or her partner deceased.
But this statement does not apply to everybody who died!
Tell people the truth if you love them.
▪︎ Everybody does not go to heaven.
▪︎ Everybody is not resting in peace.
▪︎ A lot of people are in hell because they did not repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior when they were still alive.
The Bible says there is no peace for the wicked. (Isaiah 48:22)
Yes hell is real and people go there everyday.
If hell will also be your destination depends on you!
God, in giving His Son for you, has done everything that is needed to save you. Jesus took the full punishment for your sins
Now it is upto you, if you will accept His gift to you.
The decision is yours! (If you don’t accept, you will have to carry the consequences of your sins yourself! )
▪︎ Will you accept His gift, take up your cross, and follow Him?
▪︎ Or will you choose for the pleasures this world is offering you, no matter the consequences?
We can only REST IN PEACE when we die, if we:
▪︎ have repented of our sins, and turned back to God.
▪︎ Accepted the gift God gave to us in His Son Jesus, the Christ.
▪︎ Have taken up our cross, and followed Him on the narrow way.
You can only repent, and change the direction you are going while you are still alive! So make haste!
Make your decision now!
Surrender your life to the Christ now, at this moment. Don’t delay.
You don’t know if you will get an other chance to ask God for forgiveness on your sins. Now is the time for salvation!
2 Corinthians 6:2 NASB
He says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you,
And on the day of salvation I helped you.”
Behold, now is “the acceptable time,”
behold, now is “the day of salvation”
