- What I am doing, will God approve of that?
- What I am doing, does that glorify my Lord?
- What I am doing, am I doing that for His glory alone, or am I doing it partly for my glory as well?
- What I am doing, would I still do this thing in the same way if no one else ever knew, or would ever know that I am the one who did it?
- What I am doing, would I still do it gladly if someone else was to receive the credit for it?
- What I am doing, would I still do it, if some one who hates me gets the credit for it?
If you answered these questions with a truthful “yes”, what you are doing is God-approved. I you answered “no” on one of the questions, then your work is still rooted in self.
