Romans 7:23-25
²³I see A DIFFERENT LAW in the members of my body, WAGING WAR against THE LAW OF MY MIND and making me a prisoner of the LAW OF SIN which is in my members. ²⁴Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? ²⁵Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the LAW OF GOD, but on the other, with my flesh the LAW OF SIN.
Romans 8:1-6
¹Therefore [for the reason we just read in the previous verses] there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ²For THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS HAS SET YOU FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND OF DEATH. ³For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, GOD DID: sending His own Son in the LIKENESS of sinful flesh and AS AN OFFERING FOR SIN, He condemned sin in the flesh, ⁴so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the FLESH but according to the SPIRIT. ⁵For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. ⁶For the mind set on the FLESH is DEATH, but the mind set on the SPIRIT is LIFE and peace,
The law is a system of rules and regulations, which a particular community (or country) recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and which it may enforce by the imposition of penalties.
Or in sports a rule defining correct procedure or behaviour in a sport.
The law of sin and death came into operation when mankind sinned against God in the Garden of Eden.
Genesis 2:16-17
¹⁶The Lord God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; ¹⁷but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”
And this law was enforced when mankind sinned against God, and did not repent of their sin.
Until Jesus came and took the punishment on our sins upon Himself, mankind was enslaved to this law.
Sin is in each of us, as soon as they are able, the smallest children are already showing their sinful nature.
Yes, sin is seen in the smallest children; they begin to sin right from childhood, while they never have been taught to do wrong. Ever since the first sin in Eden it became a part of mankind.
Only when we become born again, and the eternal life begins to work out its power in us, the law of the Spirit of life in the Christ begins to operate in us.
Romans 6:21-23
²¹What benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death. ²²But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
²³For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Dear friends,
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. (Romans 8:2)
Even today God is still calling everyone to salvation in order to be free from the law of sin, and come under the law of righteousness.
Romans 6:18
Having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
Only when you are saved, you can operate under the law of the Spirit of life, for it is only God Who can give you power over sin and death.
And only through Jesus your righteousness acts will become acceptable to God.
Only when you received Him the right to become children of God is given to you.
John 1:12-13
¹²But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, ¹³who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
If you still didn’t decide to follow the Christ, then take this decision today! And come away from under the law of sin.

Good sermon, God bless
To God be the glory.
I was wondering what would happen to a child if they die just on their childhood before they can understand the gospel of salvation? Do they miss salvation right there?
