Matthew 6:5-8 (GNB)
(5) When you pray, do NOT be like the hypocrites! They love to stand up and pray in the houses of worship and on the STREET CORNERS, so that EVERYONE WILL SEE them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full. (6) But when you pray, go to your room, CLOSE THE DOOR door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you. (7) When you pray, do not use a lot of MEANINGLESS WORDS, as the PAGANS do, who think that their gods will hear them because their prayers are LONG. (8) Do not be like them. Your Father already knows what you need before you ask him.
I saw someone write: “I know people are praying for me, but I need many more people to pray to get an answer from God”
I don’t know where he got that idea, but God’s answer is NOT depending on HOW LONG you pray, or with HOW MANY you pray.
Jesus tells us that when we pray, to go to the INNER ROOM, and SHUT THE DOOR.
Now the inner room was the room that was the COOLEST in the house, it was the room where people STORED their food.
So, it comes down to: SEE ALL THE PROVISIONS GOD GAVE YOU, AND THEN PRAY to God. Soon your ASKING wil turn to THANKING.
When you go into your inner room, CLOSE THE DOOR! So you will NOT BE INTERRUPTED, and you will NOT BE SEEN by others.
As opposed to praying on the STREET CORNERS (or publicly on the Internet).
And Jesus promises us, that our Father which SEES IN SECRET shall REWARD US OPENLY.
Matthew 6:5-6 (GNB) reads:

I assure you, they have already BEEN PAID IN FULL. (6) But when you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you.
Furthermore Jesus says that we must not use VAIN REPETITIONS. (X times “Our Father” etc.? Qlike other believe systems like to do, for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. LONG PRAYERS too HAVE NO INFLUENCE.
As we see in Matthew 6:7-8 (GNB)
When you pray, DO NOT USE A LOT OF MEANINGLESS WORDS, as the pagans do, who think that their gods will hear them because their prayers are long. (8) DO NOT BE LIKE THEM. Your Father already knows what you need before you ask him.
