Mark 11:3 NASB
If anyone says to you,
‘Why are you doing this?’
you say,
‘The Lord has need of it’;
and immediately he will send it back here.”

Mark 11:1-6 NASB
¹As they approached Jerusalem, at Bethphage and Bethany, near the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples, ²and said to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.
³If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ you say, ‘The Lord has need of it’; and immediately he will send it back here.”
⁴They went away and found a colt tied at the door, outside in the street; and they untied it.
⁵Some of the bystanders were saying to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?” ⁶They spoke to them just as Jesus had told them, and they gave them permission.
Christ has now no other hands, but our hands, to do His work on the world today.
Many times we have read these instructions Jesus gave when He sent two of His disciples for the colt on which He was going to make His triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
As Jesus had predicted, someone did indeed ask them what they were doing loosing the colt. They answered, as Jesus had told them to do: “The Lord hath need of him.”
▪︎ How are you reacting to our Lord’s need? He wants to use you, and also your talents, your time, your strength, and our loved ones.
▪︎ Do you resist Him when He calls you to serve Him?
▪︎ Do you release yourself for His service?
▪︎ Do you willingly give yourself for the work of the Lord ?
▪︎ Do you cheerfully dedicate your talents in the work of the Kingdom ?
▪︎ Do you without protest offer the blessing of your encouragement to some member of your family whom Christ has called to the mission field?
There is no mistake; the Lord wants to use you, all that you are, and all that you have.
Prayer suggestions
▪︎ Ask God that the Christ will make His triumphal entry into your life this day.
▪︎ Ask God to fill your heart with love for Him
▪︎ Ask God to help you to joyfully accept His call for love and service.
