Having the ability to live an overcoming life has a correlation with the condition of your spirit.
You have to condition your spirit to live in continual victory every day.
The Bible verse above provides us with the key to living an overcoming life in the Christ. The key is to have a fervent spirit when serving the Lord.
The enemy will surely fight the zeal we had when we first were born again. He will throw many things at us, hoping to turn away our attention from the Christ Jesus.
Never allow him to.
Step up in the areas of prayer, fasting, praise, meditation on the Word, declaration of the Word, and thanksgiving, and your spirit will stay aglow.
Remember that your labor in the Lord will not be in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren,
be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord,
knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
This should motivate you to stir up joy in your heart to continually serve the Lord with zeal every day till you join Him in glory.
Proverbs 15:15
All the days of the afflicted are bad,
But a cheerful heart has a continual feast.
