Ecclesiastes 7:15 NASB
I have seen everything during my lifetime of futility;
there is a righteous man
who perishes in his righteousness
and there is a wicked man
who prolongs his life in his wickedness.

Devotional
Life is indeed a mystery.
You only become conscious of your existence when you can feel the activeness of your senses.
Life is really a gift from the Most High God.
Thus because we have this gift, we have to live it out to the glory of God.
A life that pleases the Lord is righteousness.
It is loving God, doing what He does, saying what He says, loving what He loves, and hating what He hates.
In summary, righteousness is living a life that is pleasing to God.
On the contrary, wickedness is living a life in contrast to the will of God, that is, living in greed, pride, hatred, sexual immorality, and all manner of sin just to spite the Lord and humanity.
Dear friends, are you (still) living in wickedness?
If you are, then it is time for you to repent, believe in God, and to pick up your cross, and start following Jesus. When you do, you may learn to know the Christ as your Lord and personal Savior Who saved your soul.
Acts 4:12
There is salvation in no one else;
for there is no other name under heaven
that has been given among men
by which we must be saved.
- The reason God has given you life today is for you to make the right decision and be saved to begin a loving relationship with your Creator.
- If you are already born again, then continue living a righteous life to the glory of God; knowing that this life will be followed by an eternal life in heaven to live with the Lord forever.

Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a disgrace to any people.
