Psalms 4:6-7 NASB
⁶Many are saying,
“Who will show us any good?”
Lift up the light
of Your countenance upon us, O Lord!
⁷You have put gladness in my heart,
More than when their grain
and new wine abound.
Other translations
There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
Devotional
Goodness is the nature of the Most High.
The Earth is filled with His goodness.
Psalms 33:5
He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord.
Since goodness is His nature, He cannot stop doing good to His creation, especially human beings. It is not surprising that He cannot forsake His own children.
Hebrews 13:5
Make sure that your character
is free from the love of money,
being content with what you have;
for He Himself has said,
“I will never desert you,
nor will I ever forsake you,”
Dear beloved, don’t allow your challenges to change your mindset about God and to cause you to agree with your enemies who are saying no one will show you any good.
Lift your eyes to God and call upon Him.
