So often today, we look down on the wisdom of those who have come before us, thinking that we know everything better than they did.
So often today, we look down on those who want to share with us the collective wisdom that was handed down to them by their predecessors.
Let’s be especially attentive of those who are older and have proven themselves faithful.
At the same time parents, remind your children and your grandchildren how important obedience to God really is, as well as the obedience of your children to you as their parents.
Prayer suggestions
▪︎ Ask your heavenly Father to forgive you for the times that you have not properly respected Him.
▪︎ Ask your heavenly Father to forgive you for the times that you have not listened to His word of wisdom.
▪︎ Ask your heavenly Father to forgive you for the times that you have not properly respected the words and the wisdom of your parents.
▪︎ Thank God for their love for you and their desire to guide you in His way.
