Acts 20:35 NASB
In everything I showed you
that by working hard in this manner
you must help the weak
and remember the words of the Lord Jesus,
that He Himself said,
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
We find strong and weak people on this world.
▪︎ The strong ones are those that have been endowed with lots of gifts or talents, and they have been able to utilize these to build businesses, wealth, and riches.
They are strong spiritually and emotionally.
▪︎ The weak, on the other hand, might not have been able to utilize their gifts or talents, so they are poor.
Some are weak spiritually and emotionally, and others are weak because of their health or age.
Dear friend, if you happen to be strong, you have a responsibility to support the weak so they can become strong(er), so that they can help others as well.
³Vindicate the weak and fatherless;
Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
⁴Rescue the weak and needy;
Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
You become more blessed when you support the weak, and the Lord may mark you for greater blessings because He knows that others will be blessed through you.
Friends, may the Lord change your story if you are weak, so that you can become strong to support others.
▪︎ Ask God to make you strong to be able to support the weak.
